Working closely with the founder for over 6 years the Chromedia team developed separate native applications for web, iOS, and Android to equip professionals with tools to promote their services, manage appointments, and streamline the booth rental process. By combining marketing and business management into one solution, Styleteq enables beauty professionals to operate and scale with greater efficiency and independence.

The Challenge
The Styleteq founder came to Chromedia with deep domain expertise, but no experience in software development. They needed a partner who could translate their industry knowledge into a scalable tech product. They had to earn trust from a fragmented and often tech-averse user base, creating a product that felt approachable, intuitive, and genuinely helpful to both individual professionals and shop owners which meant they had to make smart, cost-conscious decisions about feature prioritization, user experience, and platform consistency.

The Solution
Styleteq engaged Chromedia to create custom, separate apps tailored specifically for each operating system (Web, iOS or Android) tailored to the needs of independent beauty professionals and shop owners. With no in-house tech experience, Styleteq relied on Chromedia for strategic guidance to balance usability, cost, and scalability. The project was developed in phases, starting with core features like the ability to create, edit, and share posts driving early user engagement. Geolocation functionality was prioritized to help clients discover nearby professionals, a key driver of business growth.
Chromedia managed the full technical build, including backend architecture, AWS administration, and iOS and Android development, while refining the initial UI mockups into a more intuitive, consistent experience. By maintaining close collaboration with the client throughout, Chromedia not only delivered a robust product but also helped educate and empower the team behind it. The result was a scalable, user-focused platform designed for long-term impact in a competitive and underserved industry. Similar to our work with Cruisebound, this project required translating deep domain expertise into a digital solution that resonates with a highly specific user base.
