The Solution
To address Fluid Gifts’ challenges, we developed a robust, scalable platform built on a modern tech stack tailored to streamline the entire gifting process. We acted as the initiator and implementer of the Fluid Gifts Next.js project, architecting the monorepo structure and deployment process for both backend and frontend using Docker. This approach ensured seamless integration and efficient delivery. Our team refactored code by breaking down components into small, maintainable, reusable, and testable units, while optimizing GraphQL schemas to avoid over-fetching data.
The solution included a suite of interconnected web applications designed for clients, vendors, and administrators, providing an intuitive user experience for every stakeholder. Seamless Salesforce integration enabled sales and marketing teams to send and track gifts directly within their existing workflows, eliminating manual steps and boosting efficiency. On the backend, we leveraged Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Sidekiq, and Redis for reliable performance and smooth background processing, while centralizing logistics and fulfillment for optimal management. Throughout the process, we prioritized code quality, testing, and system administration to ensure Fluid Gifts could scale effectively as business needs evolved.
